More model informationWall relief of the eagle-headed Apkallu, protective spirit from the Assyrian mythology. The panel was originally decorating the palace of the Neo-Assyrian ruler, Ashurnasirpal II, in Nimrud near modern Mosul, Iraq.
The relief is now housed in the Assyrian room of the Pergamon Museum, Berlin.
The model was made from 10 pictures taken a few years ago with my old Samsung Galaxy S2 as a test to see how far is it possible to push the limits of photogrammetry and Photoscan.
