**Χάλκινη φιάλη, έργο φοινικικού εργαστηρίου **

Η φιάλη διακοσμείται με έκτυπη παράσταση πολιορκίας πόλεως που αναπτύσσεται στο εσωτερικό γύρω από κεντρικό ρόδακα. Τέσσερις τοξότες αμύνονται από τα τείχη της πόλης. Ένα άρμα σύρεται από φτερωτή Σφίγγα. Τέλη του 8ου αιώνα π.Χ.

Bronze phiale, work of a Phoenician’s workshop

The phiale is decorated with relief representation on the inside depicting the siege of a town around a central rosette. Four archers defend the town from the battlement. A chariot is being drawn by a winged sphinx. Late 8th century BC.
