Ares Class from Axanar

The Ares Class was the first pure “warship” ever produced by the Federation. She fought during the “Four Years War” against the Klingons, and served until the 2270’s. The Ares herself is interned in the Starfleet Museum.

I tried to mimic Tobias Richtors masterful CGI as close as possible. However there are some deviations. The hull color is more a match for the TOS Constitution. Which only made sense. Plus i could not include “all” of the details of the CGI. Which I will say the Ares CGI level of detail was absolutely ridiculous! Totally in a good way of course. Rivaling that of the TMP Enterprise. Mr. Richtor went to town on that model. However he meshed in all of the detail. All I could do was normal map the details, and try to stay as faithful as i could to the CGI. This model is a low poly gaming model. So like with my other works zoom in at your own risk ;) The detail is there, but so are the low poly flaws. The Ares is replacing the Firestorm class in Star Trek: Continuum.
