Ashrah MKX Style

Ashrah represents a new stage of this project: an old-timeline MK character recreated by hand in the new-timeline visual style. I made her over a few days: compiling her from assorted meshes and improvising her redesign, painting her diffuse textures completely from scratch, resculpting her outfit, adjusting her model and armature , and creating and applying light/spec/norm maps to give her the finalized style and polish that she deserves. She’s my most ambitious creation without a doubt, but perhaps one of the best choices I’ve made so far. Technical details: -All new. Built and reassembled from a MKX female base face, female upper body, male lower body (Kitana, Jingu Kitana, Liu Kang Klassic). Rigged together and resculpted for an angelic style armor design. Face completely resculpted to resemble original Ashrah. -Face and hand skin textures painted in my realistic style, cloth and armor textures handpainted and enhanced by norm/spec surface detail effects. She’s a complete model!
