The rim, neck, and partial shoulder of an earthenware olive jar from the 1622 galleon Nuestra Señora de Atocha. Two stylized, X-shaped marks are stamped into the rim. These are likely shipper’s marks or signified the contents of the jar, but who or what they represent is not known. The opening of the mouth is 6.0 centimeters wide; the outside of the rim is 9.9 centimeters.
