More model informationThe Ausangate is the highest mountain in Cusco, Peru. It is considered to be the toughest and one of the most remote hikes in Cusco. It is also one of the most amazing. I made this trek in 3 days following a route of 50km (31 miles) with the highest altitude of 5,100 m (16,730 feet), starting from the village of Pacchanta. This village is famous for being the starting point of a full-day tour of seven lakes, in addition to offering natural hot springs.
