Notes: RLA catalog no. 2501.1rp52 (cast). Partial calvarium including posterior fragments of parietals and most of occipital. Reported by Raymond Dart in 1948. Designated MLD-1 and originally classified as Australopithecus promethus. Cast made by the Wenner-Gren Foundation Casting Program at the University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania.
