The SA-23E Mitchell-Hyundyne “Aurora” Starfury is the Earthforce standard non-atmospheric deep space interdiction and recon fighter. It first entered service in 2244, a year before the devastating Earth-Minbari War.

I’ve decided to upload my 2015 Starfury with PBR textures used in UE4. The mesh is based on original Starfury renders from StarshipModeler. For this release, I’ve completely redone the textures from scratch and added details around the engines and bottom.

This version retains the aggressive look from the original show by using the 5 degree angled engines like the original model. I didn’t want to diverge too much from the original design and added extra details where it wouldn’t change the Starfury silhouette.

There is also a detailed cockpit escape pod and double layered access hatch at the top to get into the cockpit.
