It happened to be intermittently overcast, so I took 5908 pictures of this rusty ol’ backhoe with the best camera I had (the one I had with me), the iPhone 5S. I hoped that the better weather and the technical advantages of a small lens and more sensitive sensor might make for a better model. I WAS WRONG. I honestly have no good idea why the model is this bad since many obviously photogrammetricizable surfaces just plain disappeared, but at least it was a fun experiment. It was an entertainingly dismal failure.
