One typical Building remaining from days when the Parenzana Railway once connected Trieste and Poreč. Today the Name Parenzana is well known as a wonderful Mountainbike / Hiking Route leading towards Parenzo (=Poreč). Riding the Track stands for Friendship and Health, while a very deep Awareness of Nature and Culture are positive side-effects.

Special Thanks to the local Authorities and Tourism Board of Istra, Slovenia and the Trieste Region for a continuing Improvement of Bicycle Infrastructure.

Travelling by Train, combined with Bicycle is a very positive approach towards sustainable, healthy and peaceful holiday. At the same time, not needing to cover high cost for expansive car and gasoline, we have more in our pocket to have a great time on our vacation trip.
