Made by an Orc named Baobab who was raised by elves. He thought he was just an odd looking elf, like Baobab trees are just odd looking trees. He wasn’t good at traditionally elven things, so he started making bows to try and win the respect of his peers.
The thing that will propell him into hisotry is the scope though, first of it’s kind. The rest of the bow is arguably too heavy for the adverage person to wield. The triangle is used to help aim the arrow like a cross bow, and it also serves as a hand guard to prevent enemies getting at it. It is also heavy enough to be used as a bludgeoning weapon in a pinch.
The name is a triple pun, as it’s physically sharp, sharp looking style wise, and the scope is used for sharpshooting.
