Baptism of Jesus (11th century - Zadar, CRO)3D Model
Thirs composition of the medieval altar rail from Archaeological Museum in Zadar, scanned with Artec Eva handheld 3D scanner. This composition is damaged. The Star of David located above the head of the John the Baptist is cut in half which brings to conclusion that one arcade, part of the last composition, is missing. Viewer can see John the Baptist standing with his right hand rised, presumably towards Jesus baptizing him. Ending composition of the early life of Jesus with this scene also has a simbolic meaning since the church was dedicated to John the Baptist.
Altar rail is currenlty part of the permanent exibitoion of the Archaeological Museum in Zadar, where it was scanned with Artec Eva handheld 3D scanner. Collected scanns were processed in Artec Studio.
