Barret[FFVII] - Redesign

Finally something new to show you! I received an assignment from my school to create a character from a concept to the final render. I decided to create a character from the Final Fantasy VII universe, because at that time the long awaited REMAKE was finally released. I am such a huge FF7 Nerd. I found this wonderful redesign by Aleksandr Nikonov (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/WKJEN) and fell in love with it! Of Course, please check out his portfolio if you like to see the concept from him. I decided to do Barret and tried to stay true to the concept as best I could. I’m pretty proud about my texturing with this piece, working on this pushed my hand painting alot! I had to tweak the proportions a bit while sculpting, because a lot of the concept doesn’t really work in 3D space, but I hope I still created a good character! I hope you like my Barret ReDesign :D!
