More model informationI’m still (still) learning (of course)! This was my second lab submission for the Bart project. The first is here and a later one here. This description applies to Bart01 & 02:
- My first character; started from a cube and extruded to here.
- Obviously looks better in Maya’s blended view
- Shapliness deduced via front and side orthographic image planes
- The hands got way better over time, thank goodness, as I also remembered the proper finger count for Simpsons characters
- I combined head and body, deleted the eight nearest faces on each shape, and attached them via Append to Polygon
- Loops were cautiously placed throughout to provide extra edges with which to round Bart out
- The model was split and duplicated along the Y-axis across the Z-axis for symmetry, though some minor details may differ on each side
