Baryonyx - skull with brain endocast3D Model
Skull of the spinosaurid theropod dinosaur Baryonyx walkeri with elements of the holotype (NHMUK PV R9951), including the brain endocast, based on CT scans of the original fossils at Ohio Health O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio. Segmentation was done using Amira by Ryan Ridgely with input from Witmer. The 3D models were subsequently prepared for dissemination using Maya. The base skull model was done by dannybob and purchased on TurboSquid (http://bit.ly/3YcQTO9). Ridgely subsequently modified the model in ZBrush (e.g., adding a palate).
