Data captured by the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust conservation team supported by BAS Mapping and Geographic Information Centre (MAGIC) in austral summer season 2019/20.
This pointcloud is made of dozens of laser scans using a Z&F 5016 TLS (Terrestrial Laser Scanner). The interior of both Bransfield House and the boat shed were laser scanned, as was the islands terrain. Photogrammetry was used to record the exterior of the buildings with the team returning with over 700 high quality images.
UKAHT are commited to preserving historic buildings and artefacts in Antarctica.
UKAHT would like to thank BAS Archives, BAS MAGIC, and CapturingReality for their support.
