More model information

This is the Batmobile from the first two Batman movies. I originally modeled this way back in 2012 as one of my first serious 3D models. I really like the design of this vehicle: it’s simple and elegant.

It does look a little different from the one in the movies and that’s because it’s based on a 1:35 scale model kit of the car. I actually like this design more than the movie version, as this one appears to be longer and lower like a frigging hypersonic missile :)

But the original design is fantastic and the first two movies as well. I tip my hat to Tim Burton and the team of awesome people that designed and built the real thing.

I brought this old model back to life to re-render it with the excellent open source https://www.luxcorerender.org/. Modeled in Blender
