Bee larvae/Czerw pszczoły3D Model
Larva and brood - after an incubation period of 3 days in all bee species, larvae, called open brood, hatch from eggs laid by the queen. Within a few days, the body weight of the larvae increases by about 2,000 kg. times. Six days after hatching of worker bees larvae, the bees close the cells they occupy (indoor brood). Cells with drone larvae are sealed 7 days after the larvae leave the egg. After sealing, the larva starts spinning the thread, creating a cocoon, then lies on its back with its head towards the cap and becomes still, transforming into a chrysalis, and then into an adult form. This process takes 12 days for workers and 14 days for drones.
