Beginning of the staircase

Scan of the beginning of the staircase of the Sprecher’s “skyscraper”( nowadays Trade Unions’ building)which is located at 7 Shevchenka Av., in Lviv, Ukraine.

Construction and materials: made in curved form in reinforced concrete. Bannisters were covered with chrome; nowadays, they have an oil-based coating. Most likely at the column, which starts the stairwell, the lantern was positioned.
