Though they are the most common of all tiger species found in India, Nepal and other southwest Asian countries, it is endangered due to loss of habitat and poaching for their fur. This model serves as a statement of what is becoming of these animals, and their natural beauty that is lost due to human intervention. These animals play a huge role in Hindu mythology and culture and should be respected and protected rather than hurt.
