Bespoke mandibular implant

I designed this model as part of my dissertation project ” Bespoke 3D Printed Implants”. This implant was created using CT scan data of a patient who suffered with mandibular cancer. The patient was missing a large portion of their jaw so I designed a bespoke implant by mirroring and remodelling the left side of the jaw to fit the cavity on the right side. This meant the implant aligned perfectly with the patients anatomy, this model was then 3D printed using a PHA/PLA material blend.
