NN 53593 20919, Balquhidder Churchyard (Canmore ID 80644), E of Balquhidder Old Parish Church (SM5588). Inscribed grave slab measuring 1.83 m (W-E) by 0.59.m.

Head of slab bears MacGregor coat of arms - shield with uprooted tree crossing a sword with crown at point. Faint lettering around the edge of shield may be a rendering of the clan motto.

Main six lines of inscription in the centre of the slab read: HERE LIE THE REMAINS / OF JOHN M GREGOR LATE[?] / TENANT IN WOODEND / OF STRONSLANY WHO / DIED[?] MARCH[?] _ _ _ AGED / 74[?] YEARS

Towards the foot are a further two lines of inscription: THIS STONE WAS ERECTED / _ _ _ _ _ _ AND[?] HIS SON
