Bhairava (Maha Kala Bhairava) is a Shaivite deity worshiped by Hindus. In Shaivism, he is a fierce manifestation of Shiva associated with annihilation. Bhairava means “terribly fearsome form”. It is also known as one who destroys fear or one who is beyond fear. That is why Bhairav looks very aggressive mostly.
