This model is from the sculpture La Bicha of Bazalote, one of the most enigmatic and representative works of Iberian art. The original is carved in limestone and dated between the 6th and 5th centuries BCE. It was discovered in the province of Albacete, near the Bazalote archaeological site, from which it takes its name. The sculpture depicts a hybrid creature with the body of a bull and a bearded human face, which some researchers associate with Eastern mythological figures.
