Model created for my Studio 3 course.
I was on a massive bioshock high and still am, I totally forgot how amazing that game was when it came out and in preperation for the complete edition coming out in September, i thought i’d go ahead and remake the mini-turrets you can get. It was definitely hard developing the model from the ground up, the lack of concept art and actual references made it a bit of a challenge! I sadly didn’t get the normal maps to work, for some reason the projection mapping was breaking the normals. by including the barrel of the turret in the base unwrap :S . Also some issues with UV’s being stretchy too, i wanna figure out how to get the sides to light up as well, definitely wanna get that into my knowledge book!
