The construction of this chateau began during the 12th century, and new parts were added in successive styles until the 16th century. This incredible juxtaposition of buildings results in an exceptional architecture , with a special appeal.

Note the chapel, with two levels, the upper level for the inhabitants of the chateau, and the lower for the inhabitants of the village.

This site is located in the south of Perigord, near Montpazier, in the “Bastides” region.
