Black Church - A Gothic Gem of Brașov
The Black Church, originally named Saint Mary’s Church, is the largest Gothic place of worship in Southeast Europe, built between 1383 and 1477. This emblem of Brașov, Kronstadt, was partially destroyed in the fire of 1689, from which it derived its current name due to the smoke-blackened walls. Subsequent restorations have retained most of the Gothic features with some Baroque additions. The interior impresses with its collection of Oriental carpets donated by Saxon merchants and a remarkable organ, one of the largest in Europe. The 3D model invites you to admire the Gothic architectural details, including the stained glass windows and the decorated portal. Let us build your 3D scanned models.
