More model informationBlack-burnished ware was a type of pottery produced by the Romans in Britain. There were two variants, BB1 and BB2. BB2 had a finer texture, and was wheel rather than hand thrown. BB2 was produced around the Thames Estuary, whereas BB1 was manufactured in Dorset. This model depicts a jar in the BB2 style.
