Black Lechwe

Black Lechwe is an antelope that is appr. 3.3 ft. in height. Often seen grazing in water they are extremely good swimmers because there hooves are adapted for swimming in swampy areas rather than land. Their fur in the water has a greasy coat over it as they swim to help them swim faster. They are herbivores and the males have horns.
