More model informationThis lovely cup and 4-ringed cupmark is currently found on the lawn at Blarnaboard farm, downhill from the site at Blarnaboard 1. In fact, it looks like a shard from the upper site, that has been quarried off.
The fragment is 0.85m long by 0.55m wide, with a maximum depth of 0.08m. The cup-mark in the centre is 0.02m in diameter. The largest ring is 0.3m in diameter north-south and has been chipped off on the eastern edge of the sandstone rock. There is a radial line from the smallest ring to the outer ring to the NNE.
It would be interesting to see if there are other fragments that may have been taken as souvenirs found locally.
