Another enemy created for a “cosmic horror” game jam. I was trying to think of something scary, and I always thought things that made a person’s face look like a peice of cloth to be particularily scary. The setting was an alien planet that worshipped eldritch beings, so my lore was that he was some sort of alien worshipper that sacrificed his body to gain power, unwittingly becoming a slave of depraved blood lust for all eternity instead. But I like keep things up to interpretation! It’s more fun that way.

By the way, this creature and the Octodemon were both textured using the amazing UcuPaint add on for blender. Just an extremely well made add on that allows me to paint in Blender as if I was in Krita or Paint Tool Sai, easily add and manipulate custom generated gradients, masks, etc… It’s a huge game changer and has gotten me actually excited to texture my models now!

Idle, move, attack and death animations included. I’m especially fond of the attack animation and the prisoner’s devious laugh.
