Blurrg-1120 Blaster Pistol

The Blurrg-1120 was a small hold-out blaster pistol that sported 9 unique firing modes including the standard single shot and double shot. The weapon was named after the Blurrg, a strong and stoic creature native to the the planet Ryloth, the home of it’s manufacturer Eirriss Ryloth Defense Tech.

This is my rendition of the Blurrg-1120 seen in Star Wars: Battlefront II with that version being my main reference for this model. It was also seen wielded by Hera Syndulla in the animated show Star Wars: Rebels. I created this asset over the last few days as a personal challenge to get back into the swing of things as I wanted to get some extra practice in before my university work starts piling up again now that I have gone back for my next semester. Considering I have not done a portfolio piece in a while due to all my assignments I am extremely happy with the results and have noticed good progress in my texturing.

This is a game ready asset modelled in 3DS Max and textured in Substance Painter at 2k quality
