Blyth Wreck: Heritage Crime

This model shows evidence of illegal salvage attempts made on the wreck CITiZAN recorded on Blyth beach in 2018. It is not known when the timber was damaged, but was likely within a few years. The target of the slavage was clearly copper, as the timber surrounding in situ copper bolts has been cut away, and the bolts sheared off.
