This Bobcat skid-steer loader has been captured here in jaw-dropping resolution with the Artec Leo in HD Mode combo in just 90 minutes. Used for various loading, carrying, and cleaning jobs in everything from construction to agriculture, the object is quite large, yet has lots of small and medium-sized components which can be tricky for a 3D scanner to capture. But not so for Leo. Thanks to the AI-powered HD Mode, the scanner was not only able to digitize the entire object with sharp and clean finishing, but capture all the teeny tiny elements of the cockpit, the wheels, and the bucket in high resolution.
All parts except the cockpit glass and light reflectors were scanned as is, while these two surfaces were first coated with talcum powder.
HD data reconstruction, launched right after scanning was complete, took another 90 minutes, after which the loader was uploaded to Artec Studio for final processing
