Locker Key from the Bon Accord Swimming Baths, collected in 2008. The baths first opened in 1940 and was thought to resemble a Granite Box.
The historic Art Deco baths closed in 2008 due to local budget cuts, much to the dismay of the community. This resulted in the Save Bon Accord Baths campaign.
In 2015 after numerous proposals to Aberdeen City Council, Bon Accord Heritage were successful in saving the neglected baths with the aim to reopen as a community-run facility.
