More model information出土於高雄左營舊城遺址，日治時代人們所留下的遺物，距今約19世紀晚期至20世紀前期。 骨製牙刷，上有「▯天吉祥選定」字樣，上端孔洞可插入一束束豬鬃或其他動物毛作為刷毛，同樣位置之器背有四道縱向刻痕，柄尾端穿一孔。 左營舊城遺址的文化內涵相當豐富，包含史前時期到近代歷史時期的文化遺物皆有出土，而本件骨製牙刷是發掘於一處小型灰坑，此文化遺跡是1937年左營舊城劃入軍區，在地居民遷離之前所留下的，反映清末日治初期人們之日常生活與物質文化。
This bone toothbrush was excavated from a small rubbish pit left by the inhabitants of the Old City of Zuoying, before it was assigned as a military district. It reflects the daily life and material culture of the common people during late-Qing to early Japanese occupation period.
