Booker T. Washington Cabin

The Booker T. Washington log cabin replica was built by the Booker T. Washington Centennial Commission in commemoration of Washington’s 100th birthday. The structure is a replica of his Virgina childhood home as decribed in his autobiography, “Up From Slavery”. The log cabin is now situated on the grounds of the Tuskegee History Center, after being relocated from the Tuskegee National Forest.
