Plate of faience with tin glaze in blue, orange and yellow on white. In the central medallion a bust facing left, surrounded by grotesques with angels, fantastic creatures, flower-filled platforms and draperies. Along the rim a band with fantastic creatures with female heads and peacocks, linked by flowering tendrils. Executed in “Raffaellesca” style. With foot ring. Probably made in Italy, France or the Netherlands (Haarlem, Verstraeten workshop). Found during archaeological research in Enkhuizen (2013)
