More model informationA small part of a larger project I’m working on. Obviously based on the art of borderlands :D Probably my favorite game series of all time and with the announcement of 3 being released I thought I’d give it a go, but also add some personal challenges. For example the terrain mats and rock material were all done in substance designer. Trying to get that handpainted look was fun but also much harder than I imagined, the turbine however was handpainted. The scene also only uses a Basecolor texture, so no normals, roughnes, etc, and the poly count is close to doubled on here in order to get the black outline on the mesh.
