The sculpture, solemnly revealed on November 6, 2009, symbolizes the border of Bohemia and Moravia, although it is not located directly on the historical land border. The statue of the eagle is guarded by the Moravian statue and the statue of the lion of the Czech territory, among which a borderstone is placed. The sculpture is located near the Pilze reservoir in Žďár nad Sázavou.
