More model informationThe excellent Bosiliack Barrow, one of the finest burial chambers in Cornwall. Situated someway between Men an Tol and Ding Dong Mine.
From the historic environment record: An entrance grave with a chamber orientated NW-SE defined by six orthostats with an entrance to the south east. Two large stones on the top of the mound were considered to be possible capstones. Charcoal and cremated bone were found in association with [a] pot in an apparently primary deposit. Two radiocarbon determinations were obtained on the cremated bone giving almost identical dates, falling between 1690 to 1500 cal BC.
