Boudicca (Bronze bust)

Boudicca was a queen of the Iceni, a Britannian tribe that attempted to unify the Celtic tribes against the forces of the Roman Empire in 60 AD.

I was interested in experimenting a bit with my way of sculpting and I tried to move away from my work as a 3D Artist doing something free, more dramatic and experimenting a bit with the style of some sculptors from the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, such as Benlliure or Rodin, doing something more organic, and I discovered Pablander’s “Digital Clay Pack” brushes and I definitely needed to try it with this bust. Also, creating a nice and believable bronze material with green patina was a challenge. Hope you like!
