More model informationA Pictish Symbol Stone also inscribed with Ogham. It bears the symbols of a Crescent and V-rod and a serpent and Z-rod. The inscription in Ogham reads IRATADDOARENS. The carvings are dated to around 600 AD. The block of whinstone 1.07M x 1.27M x 0.91M was broken up with dynamite and used in building a dry stone wall sometime before 1866. The stone is now reassembled and stands at Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
