Brewerton Corner Notched Projectile Point

A chert Brewerton Corner Notched projectile point, which is part of the Maryland unprovenanced assemblage curated at the Natural History Society of Maryland. This point dates to the Late Archaic period ranging from 4300 BC and continuing to perhaps 1600 BC. The Brewerton Corner Notched point is a broad and thick point, with wide shoulders and pronounced corner notching.
