The Brig Audubon was built in 1854 and sank in a collision with the Defiance three months later. It now rests very intact in 180 ft of water off Presque Isle. The site contains masts, booms, wheel, rudder and much more. The model was created from 1180 images shot on one 20 minute dive with one loop around the rail and a pass up and down the deck. It took over forty hours in photoshop to individually dodge and burn several hundred of the images to balance the near and far portions of the images. It’s apparent that a pass around the masts in the opposite direction would have been valuable to capture both sides of the details of the mast structures.
