The god Min was a fertility/creator god from Upper Egypt. The earliest examples of cult statues from an Egyptian temple (dating to circa 4500 BCE) are of the god Min. His statue was typically made at a colossal scale. This one represents a miniature votive statuette from the Later Periods of Egyptian history (660-30 BCE).
