The obverse has “FINA” in large letters, over a male swimmer with outstretched arms and legs and a background of thin horizontal stripes. Around the periphery is the legend “FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE NATATION AMATEUR”. The reverse has palm and laurel branches around a plain central area.
