The appearance of the brooms used by the figures from the Joseon Dynasty in Kim Yun-bo’s (1865–1938) genre painting Threshing and the reference to the sarri broom excavated from the Sinchang-dong site (Historic Site No. 375) in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, which is estimated to be from the early Iron Age, about 2,000 years ago.
