More model informationThe so-called “Brotlaibsäule” (bread loaf column), an approximately three metre high sandstone four-pass column with a two-stage base plate, rises southeast of the centre of Zistersdorf. Its exact age is not known. Letters and numbers on the uppermost segment are weathered to the point of illegibility. A legend refers to the early 18th century as the time of origin.
