The bow is semicircular, with its ends bending inward to curl into volutes. The volute bases are connected by a bar, on which the prong attachment is hung. The rectangular loop serves to attach the strap end mounting and is decorated with volutes on the outside. The frame is flattened on the underside and slightly curved on the top side. The prong is thin, straight, and pointed.
